COVID-19 Task Force Sets Strict Monitoring on Passenger Arrivals at Pramuka Island Pier

The Panggang Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force has tightened its monitoring over the arrival of boats anchored at Pramuka Island Main Pier, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

We have checked 89 passengers from four boats that arrived, consisting of local residents, tourists, and employees

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin mentioned, monitoring was carried out regarding implementation of PPKM Level 3 in Jakarta by checking body temperature, monitoring health protocols implementation on passengers who disembark on every arriving boat, and ensuring they had been vaccinated through the PeduliLindungi app.

"We have checked 89 passengers from four boats that arrived, consisting of residents, tourists, and employees. All of them can show their vaccination certificates," he said, Monday (2/14).

To anticipate COVID-19 transmission, every passenger who just got off the boats was directed to wash their hands at the handwashing facilities provided at the pier.

"Our personnel always remind all passengers to adhere to health protocols while in Thousand Islands for the safety and health of all," he stated.
